Risa groaned, bringing a hand to her forehead. It felt as if it were going to split any moment, she closed an eye in hopes the pain would vanish. It only intensified. It wasn't the only place, hear back searing as she drew herself into a sitting position. Her hand shot to her back in reflex, quavering as she felt her cold blood encase her quivering fingers.
I'm already failing she thought spitefully. Her thoughts returned to that morning. She'd left Konoha bright and early, it was her first mission. All she had to do was make it Rain, then back. Alive.
Kurenai put her up to the test. She wanted to know what Risa Hyuuga was capable, if anything at all. She was only six, having very little training as a genin thus far.
Risa's hands fell pitifully into the shaded dirt of the forest floor. If only, she thought bringing a blood-spattered hand through her hair, If only I were like him...

The blood, drying and caked, had spread on her white shirt, like the plague. She was still bleeding, even after sitting there and waiting it out, which she thought would be most beneficial. Nonetheless, blood still trickled. She couldn't remember exactly where she was, only knowing she was on her way to Rain.
Slowly, she inched her way over to a tree, using it as leverage, digging her nails into the hardened bark. Her teeth grit, feeling that tinge in her back as she drew herself into a standing position. I need to put pressure on the wound, she thought, her violet eyes taking in her surroundings, in hopes there was something useful. She sighed, there wasn't a single thing. She glanced down at her shirt, biting her lip before drawing her mesh shirt up, leaving it to rest around her neck. She then retreived a kunai, which she hovered above her stomach anxiously. She drew the white fabric away from her, slicing it slowly until she had a ring of the material draped languidly around her hips. She proceeded to cut that, creating a long strip resembling bandaging.
It would have to work for now. She wrapped it tightly around her wound, then covered it with the remaining material, cringing as her wound began to sear-- there was dirt caught in the wound. She sighed, mentally placing herself away from the pain. She'd been taught a bit about Chakara, and was beginning to wonder if she could redirect her's to clot the injury-- she didn't know how to go about it, giving up on it with a languid shrug. She pushed away from the tree, staggering forward.
I'm making it to Rain, and back.
